Senior Program Specialist
The Senior Program Specialist position supports all aspects of NIET activities with the implementation and management of the TAP System and the Educator Effectiveness Best Practices, to include trainings, partnership support, school review and evaluation, and projects as assigned. These include serving as the primary director of federal grants or projects (such as Teacher Incentive Fund and Supporting Effective Educator Development) or Learning Technology Support. The Research Associate or Senior Research Associate will support all aspects of the NIET research activities. In addition, this position will write reports, papers, policy briefs, and articles, as well as, provide research expertise to other NIET projects and personnel. Senior Policy Associate/Policy Associate
The Senior Policy Associate/Policy Associate supports all aspects of education policy initiatives for the organization, including analysis and development of federal and state policy relating to teacher and school leader effectiveness. Specific areas of focus include educator effectiveness, observation and feedback, evaluation, compensation, job-embedded professional development, accountability and leadership development, as well as educator preparation.
