2020 NIET Summer Institute
The 2020 NIET Summer Institute was held June 25-26. This two-day conference was a virtual gathering that provided a unique summer training experience for leaders and educators across the country. The training focused on preparing for both virtual and face-to-face education for students in the 2020-21 school year.
Training sessions provided in-depth professional learning for school leadership teams to bridge from prior year learning, build knowledge around key aspects of virtual coaching and student engagement, as well as build instructional expertise. These sessions focused on enhancing participant understanding of critical structures and learning from best practices in the field. Throughout the institute, school and district teams learned together and prepared for the virtual and face-to-face education of all students in the school year.
