Dr. Fernando Valle is an associate professor of educational leadership and the program coordinator at Texas Tech University (TTU). Valle and educational leadership faculty at TTU lead over $12 million in U.S. Department of Education federal grants, including the recent i3 Innovation and Supporting Effective Educator Development (SEED) TAP Connect National Pilot and the current SEED Leadership Instruction for Teachers (LIFT) principal fellows program. LIFT seeks to improve classroom practice, instructional coaching and instructional leadership. Previously, Valle served as a teacher, school counselor and principal before moving into university work and the professoriate. He received a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Texas at Pan American.
