Vicky Condalary currently serves as NIET's vice president of services. Since joining NIET in 2013, Vicky has served in the role of executive director of the LA BOLD project, assistant director of school services and was the project director for TAP Connect, a Supporting Effective Educator Development (SEED) Grant in partnership with Texas Tech University and five independent school districts in Texas.
Prior to joining NIET, Vicky worked for the Louisiana Department of Education as the TAP senior executive master teacher supporting a team of 16 executive master teachers in numerous district throughout the state of Louisiana. She began her work at LDOE as the first Louisiana executive master teacher in 2006. She began her work with TAP as a master teacher at Cedarcrest-Southmoor in East Baton Rouge Parish School System in 2003 at one of the first five pilot TAP schools in Louisiana.
She also worked as a teacher for over 17 years. In 2001, Vicky was honored with the prestigious Milken Educator Award and has served as a Milken Educator Award liaison for the state of Louisiana and a mentor for new Milken Educators for the past two years.
Vicky received National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Certification in 2000 and was recertified in 2010. She received her Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Louisiana State University, and Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism from Louisiana State University.
