Who is your favorite teacher?

For as long as I could remember my favorite teachers have always been Mrs. Hollinshead and my mother. Mrs. Hollinshead was my third grade homeroom teacher. She was so sweet, humble, and loving to each and every one of her students. I was the type of student who loved to make everybody in the classroom laugh because I didn’t know how to read, write, or do anything. Mrs. Hollinshead and my mother took a chance on me and helped me learn how to read, write, and laugh. Because of my mother and Mrs. Hollinshead I have always wanted to help students who were like me and struggle to find their way.

What is your favorite subject and why?

My favorite subject has always been history. I think that history is super important to the educational system in general. The reason that history has always been my favorite subject is the contrast change over time. I love that with history I can open up my textbook or go online to see different things from the past. It’s sort of like a time machine. I have always love to daydream about being in the 70’s or 80’s. I feel that history is one big time machine and I love it.
