Payton Parker

Director of Grant Management and Business Operations

Payton Parker assists project directors in their oversight, coordination and management of the on-site activities related to federal projects. Payton is also responsible for grant reporting, contract review and development, preparing and submitting grant proposals, invoicing and budgeting.

He graduated from the Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas in 2012 with a degree in finance.

What accomplishment are you most proud of through your work at NIET?

I am most proud of being part of the team who successfully applied for the Louisiana BOLD TIF grant. At just over $49 million, it is NIET's largest grant to date impacting over 1,490 teachers and 23,900 students across 12 local education agencies.

What do you do in your free time?

I enjoy traveling and relaxing at the lake with family and friends.

What was your favorite subject in school and why?

TV Broadcasting because I loved being in front of the camera!
