Who is your favorite teacher?

My favorite teacher growing up was Ms. Winters, my third grade teacher. She was one of the first teachers who really saw potential in me and pushed me to work harder to reach that potential. In hindsight, I look back and realize that she was an incredible teacher in that every student in her class felt that way. She had an amazing ability to reach a variety of students where they were and grow them.

What is your favorite subject in school and why?

My favorite subject in school was math. Growing up, math always felt like an exciting game I could reason through in order to unlock the answer. I loved learning new math practices and strategies to unlock new puzzles and creatively solve new real-world problems.

What do you do in your free time?

In my free time, I love to be active, be surrounded by friends and family, and experience new places and food. This means outside of work you can often find me running or biking with friends, trying out a new restaurant (or going back to a tried and true gem), or exploring a new city or park.
