Katie Von Rembow
Chief Financial Officer
As chief financial officer at the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching (NIET), Katie Von Rembow provides leadership and oversight for all financial and accounting functions of the organization.
Von Rembow is a certified public accountant with a diverse background in both accounting and education. She began her career teaching mathematics at the middle school and junior high levels. Prior to joining NIET, she worked in public accounting with an emphasis in audits of nonprofit organizations, construction companies and employee benefit plans. As a former educator, she understands the critical importance of effective teachers, and enjoys putting her accounting skills to work in support of NIET’s mission to advance educator effectiveness.
A three-time graduate of the University of Arkansas, Von Rembow earned a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics, a Master of Arts in teaching, and a Bachelor of Science in business administration. She is a member of the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and also serves on the board of a garden education nonprofit.
