Emalee Baker is the Deputy SuperIntendent of Support and Implementation for the South Carolina Public Charter School District where she leads a team dedicated to partnering with and supporting charter schools in successfully implementing their charters with fidelity. She is passionate about building strong relationships with school leaders and creating systems that help schools, educators, and students thrive.
Emalee earned a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Clemson University, her master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Literacy from University of Texas at Arlington, and her Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) in Educational Leadership from Clemson University. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Systems: Improvement Science at Clemson University and anticipates graduating in the summer of 2027.
Emalee grew up on Hilton Head Island and currently resides in the Lowcountry of SC with her husband, Jesse, and daughter, Madalynn. As a family they love to spend time on the water when not cheering on Madalynn as she plays ECNL soccer across the country!
