Ambra Dunn brings almost 20 years of experience in education, serving students and educators across early childhood and secondary education. She began her career teaching preschool students ages 3–5 before transitioning to middle school English Language Arts and Reading. Throughout her career, she has served in every major TAP instructional leadership role, including career teacher, Mentor Teacher, Master Teacher, and dean of instruction, with a passion for developing educators, strengthening instructional leadership, and improving student outcomes.

As a TAP Mentor Teacher, Ambra helped her campus earn six state distinctions through instructional coaching, collaborative planning, and data-driven practices before transitioning to TAP Master Teacher. She later joined the leadership team that transformed a middle school into a Digital Arts & Technology Academy and helped support the district’s transition to virtual and hybrid learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Most recently, as dean of instruction, she partnered with teachers and campus leaders to strengthen instruction and implement strategic improvement efforts that contributed to significant gains in the campus’s overall accountability performance. Ambra is passionate about building leadership capacity, coaching educators, and partnering with schools to create lasting improvements that positively impact both teachers and students.

Outside of work, Ambra enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures. As new empty nesters, she and her husband enjoy making lasting memories together, and spending quality time with their adult children and ‘fur baby’ whenever they can.
