Theresa Hussey is a senior specialist on the Indiana Team. Prior to joining NIET, she served as both a mentor and master teacher at Goshen Junior High in Goshen Indiana. In the more than ten years she served as a teacher leader, Theresa supported aspiring teachers, new teachers, and experienced teachers in their work to strengthen and improve classroom instruction and support student learning. Theresa was a core member of her school leadership team, working in partnership with school leaders to implement data driven instruction through writing common assessments and coaching around student work, while also serving as a New Tech coach and facilitator. She taught secondary math and developed a math curriculum to align with student outcomes in first through eighth grade.

Terry holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary math education and a master's degree in curriculum from Indiana Wesleyan.
