Why are you passionate about working at NIET?

I am passionate about working at NIET because I have had the opportunity to work alongside NIET and see firsthand the positive impact of their support for educators and school leaders. NIET's commitment to educator excellence and student achievement closely aligns with my own beliefs about teaching, learning, and leadership. I look forward to continuing to learn, collaborating with others, and contributing to the work of supporting educators and improving outcomes for students.

What is your superpower/hidden talent?

My superpower is seeing people’s potential and helping them see it in themselves. I believe people thrive when they are both supported and challenged. I enjoy helping others recognize their strengths, navigate obstacles, and build confidence in their abilities. A growth mindset, perseverance, and lifelong learning have shaped my own journey, and I hope to encourage those same qualities in others.

Who is your favorite teacher?

My favorite teacher was my kindergarten teacher. She encouraged my curiosity, challenged me to learn, and always believed in me. She helped instill the confidence that I could accomplish what I set my mind to, and her influence played an important role in my decision to become an educator. Her example has stayed with me throughout my career.
