Why are you passionate about working at NIET?

I have experienced firsthand the impact NIET can have on teachers and leaders. Through my district’s NIET partnership, I had the opportunity to see the people I worked with grow professionally and become more confident as instructional leaders. That experience is a big part of why I am excited to now support other schools and districts through NIET.

What do you do in your free time?

I enjoy camping, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my family and my dog, Willow.

What was your favorite subject in school?

Social studies because I enjoyed learning about different places around the world, American history, and especially U.S. government. I have always been interested in understanding how people, places, history, and government shape the world around us.
