Dr. Ashley Anderson-Murray received her Bachelor of Science degree from Alice Carson Tisdale Honors College at Claflin University and her Master of Arts degree in Learning Disabilities from Furman University; Anderson-Murray earned her Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix. She began her career in public education as a classroom teacher with almost two decades serving primary, intermediate, and collegiate students as an adjunct professor. Anderson-Murray maintains National Board Certification as she believes that students thrive when relationships, rigor, and relevance are valued. Her servant leadership philosophy focuses on the needs of students with intentionality, optimism, and urgency for continued academic growth. Dr. Murray is active in multiple professional and community organizations that include the SDPC Leadership Academy with the University of Oulu, South Carolina Association of School Administrators, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
