Before becoming a senior specialist, Angela has demonstrated her passion for teaching and learning through various roles. She has had the opportunity to support teachers, teacher leaders, principals, and district leaders within the multiple roles that she has served. Angela formally served as a teacher leader, mentor teacher, curriculum coordinator, and executive master teacher. Her unwavering passion for increased student achievement has inspired her current professional goal to ensure equitable instructional practices are present in all classrooms.
Angela holds a Bachelor of Elementary Education and a Master of Education in curriculum and Instruction from Southern University. She is currently purposing a Ph.D. in curriculum, instruction, assessment, and evaluation from Walden University.
