A Chicago native now residing in South Carolina, Angelina Burrows is passionate about equipping educators to reach their full potential. As Southeast Regional Director at NIET, she brings deep experience in school leadership and a firsthand understanding of the Southeast region to her work. She is committed to developing district and school leaders, knowing that effective leadership leads to more effective teaching practices and increased student achievement.

Prior to joining NIET, Angelina served as an Assistant Principal for Indianapolis Public Schools and as a Dean of Students at Hammond High School in Northwest Indiana. She began her career in education as a seventh-grade science teacher at Scott Middle School in Hammond, Indiana, where she also served as a master and mentor teacher.

As a first-generation college graduate, Angelina earned her Bachelor of Science from Loyola University Chicago, a Master of Science in Education from Quincy University, and a Master of Education in School Administration and Supervision from Indiana State University.
