She brings a thoughtful, informed, and people-centered approach to HR, with hands-on expertise in payroll, benefits administration, retirement planning, and policy development.

Who is your favorite teacher?

My favorite teacher was my sixth grade teacher, Mrs. Horner. She helped me recognize my potential and showed me how knowledge really is power. That year, I became a spelling bee champion and discovered a love for reading that has stayed with me throughout life.

Why are you passionate about working at NIET?

What excites me most about working at NIET is being part of an organization where the mission and values are truly lived, not just stated. I’m motivated by the opportunity to support and empower employees, so they can focus on what matters most: serving teachers and students. Being part of an organization that makes such a meaningful impact is both inspiring and rewarding.

What do you do in your free time?

I’m very family-centered and love spending quality time with my husband. Our adult children keep life lively and it’s nice keeping up with what’s new in their worlds. I also enjoy photography, playing board games, traveling (especially to the beach), and staying connected with friends and family.
