Why are you passionate about working with NIET?

NIET changed my life. The instructional rubric gave me a clear, actionable toolkit that transformed how I support student learning. It shifted my mindset from focusing on what I do as an educator to focusing on what students produce and demonstrate. Through NIET, I learned that my work is driven by student outcomes - their actions, understanding, and needs determine my next steps. That student-centered approach is why I am deeply passionate about continuing my work with NIET.

What do you do in your free time?

In my free time, I love to read, spend time at our fishing camp in Toledo Bend, and cheer on my daughters at softball games and dance competitions.
