Who is your favorite teacher?

My favorite teacher was Ms. Anderson, my high school chemistry teacher. She made me feel like I could accomplish anything and constantly encouraged me to reach higher than I thought I was capable of.

What do you do in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy building LEGO sets. I love the process of assembling something piece by piece and seeing how small, simple blocks—guided by clear instructions—can come together to create intricate and impressive models.

Why are you passionate about working at NIET?

I’m passionate about working at NIET because I want the research I do to have a meaningful impact. I can’t think of a better way to do that than by working in education and supporting teachers as they grow and strengthen their practice.
