Tiffaney comes to NIET after spending over a decade in Louisiana's Rapides Parish Schools, where she started her career as a fourth grade math teacher. She then went on to serve in several leadership capacities including teacher leader, master teacher and dean of students. In these roles, she helped lead schools serving pre-K through eighth grade to substantial growth. Her passion for increased student achievement has inspired her current professional goal of ensuring that highly effective teachers are present in all classrooms.

Tiffaney earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and Master of Arts from Louisiana College.

Why are you passionate about working at NIET?

I am passionate about working at NIET because I share their mission of "building educator excellence to give all students the opportunity for success." It was through my work as a master teacher that I truly began to see the impact that ongoing support has on building and retaining highly effective teachers. As a senior specialist at NIET, I am now able to work with a team of highly skilled educators to provide that level of ongoing support on an even broader level.

What do you do in your free time?

In my free time I enjoy shopping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
