“NIET’s presence in the Louisiana Teacher Leader Summit elevates the importance of supporting the implementation of the rubrics and best practices in collaborative structures to continue building educator excellence through our professional learning,” said NIET South-Central Regional Director Theresa Hamilton. “After attending these sessions, educators will have the resources and materials available to support them in building educator excellence through this learning to provide all Louisiana students the opportunity for success.”
NIET was an early innovator and leader of instructional support in Louisiana classrooms. It has supported the state with key state instructional initiatives through a partnership with the LDOE, including the implementation of Instructional Leadership Teams statewide, as well as the creation and implementation of the Louisiana Leader, Teacher, and Aspiring Teacher Rubrics.
